Serving Millis and the rest of Norfolk County.

Millis has one of the more interesting origin stories in our service area — and the masonry to match it.

Masonry contractor in Millis.

Until 1885, Millis was East Medway; it split off and took the name of Lansing Millis, the railroad man whose shoe factory and other works turned a farm village into an industrial center almost overnight. The Millis Center Historic District preserves that layered history — Main Street itself was built in 1809 as the Hartford and Dedham Turnpike, and the center mixes pre-split farmhouses with rail-era buildings. For masonry, that means everything from 19th-century foundations and chimneys set in lime mortar to postwar homes whose brickwork is now a half-century into New England winters. We handle both — repointing, chimney repair, steps, and walls — with the mortar matched to the era of the house.
